Volunteer Requirement Information

Your participation in our school volunteer program is a vital part of what makes our school so successful. It provides us with the necessary help needed to keep our school functioning, but also gives you an opportunity to be a role model for your child and sets a wonderful example of community service to our student body.

In order to continue this standard, we ask that each person give a minimum of 10 volunteer hours per year, or 20 hours per family.

Reporting Volunteer Hours
By submitting your hours in detail, using the attached online reporting link, your information allows our parent leaders (PTO) to better plan and staff the coming year events and maintains a history of your families volunteering efforts.

Reporting volunteer hours: You may submit your hours as they occur by simply clicking here. Please report all your hours no later than April 15, 2010.

Or you may still submit your volunteers hours using the hard copy form found in the school's front office.

Volunteer Opportunities Request Form

To view and potentially volunteer for the many volunteer opportunities here at St. Theresa Catholic School, please click here to view and print a hard copy of the form. Next, review the many volunteer opportunities that are potentially available. When you find areas that are of interest to you, please complete the form and submit via hard copy to school's front office.

Prior to being accepted for any volunteer activity a confirmation of current Safe Environment Training (SET) compliance needs to be completed. Terez Sanguin-Barta, SET Coordinator for St Theresa Parish and School, provides the Diocese Database Report (SET compliance list) to the school office. All parents/volunteers will need to be in compliance after September 18, 2009. Questions, please contact Terez Sanguine-Barta at 602-808-0446.

Thank you for your time and effort in making St. Theresa Catholic School a better place for our children!
