STCS Recycling Efforts

Aluminum cans:

Money collected from recycling aluminum cans is donated to the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur to be used to help  their orphanages around the world.  During October and November, the collections is sent to the Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos Organization. This organization was started many years ago by a marvelous Catholic priest to help orphans in Mexico, the Caribbean Islands and Central America.

Pop tops from Aluminum cans:

Monies collected from recycling the pop tops help the Ronald McDonald House and their outreach to cancer victims.

Papers and Cardboard:

STCS recycles papers and cardboard which are generated during the school day. These papers, along with newspapers, magazines, telephone books, and even cardboard boxes which are donated out in the parking lot collection boxes, help to generate funds for sharing with various Catholic charities and school programs.
